- Retired military officer says "New Black Panther" poll watcher was pleasant to talk to, non-obstructive.

- Todd Aiken lost what was supposed to be an at-risk Democratic Senate seat in Missouri
- Richard Murdock lost what had been a safe Republican Senate seat in Indiana. Murdock had defeated Richard Lugar, an old style (read: smart, reasonable) Republican. I'm curious if the President will find a place for Lugar.
- Joe Walsh, an old school idiot, is gone, defeated by a Democrat, female Iraq War vet.
