There's been some noise in the press and blogosphere about Apple's Child Labor problems.
I really don't get it. Apple and so many others are in China so we can have cheap things. Every time we buy something Made in China, we vote and say we care more about price than democracy, free speech, decent wages and on and on. Corporations, I'm sorry, citizens, play this shell game of sub-contracting to provide distance from economic and PR concerns. Why is this news now?
